Semi-Serious Book Club: December 2021

Our group met on November 23 to discuss America Compromised by Larry Lessing, an attorney who likes to repeatedly remind his readers of that fact, hoping, I sup- pose, that someone might be in the market for his services. He writes of the corruption in public and private enterprise throughout government, financial institutions, universities and medical establishments. I suppose it is of value to have these reminders, though it is a little like getting spanked and made to eat soap—being punished and reminded that you are being punished. Read the book to know who Lessing says the real no-goods are!
We will not meet in December, but we welcome men and women to join us in the new year for semi-serious dis- cussions of books with social, economic, and/or political importance. For information email nortlynne@cox.net.
