Garden Club: January 2017 Update

The Garden Club Christmas Party was held on December 19. Members brought either a hardy salad, dessert, or an appetizer to share. A committee of members prepared the beautifully decorated tables with centerpieces made by Ann Strauss.
Members were asked, if they wanted to participate in a gift exchange, to bring a garden related, wrapped gift to be given out by names drawn from a bag. This fun activity always draws Oohh’s and Aahh’s as the gifts are opened.
The January meeting will be held on Monday, January 16 when club members will be encouraged to share garden related ideas, experiences, or similar topics. Also, signup will be taken for the Field trip in February to the Modjeska Canyon.
