Opportunity Knocking: The Emergency Preparedness Committee is happy to announce that a date has been set for another CPR/AED/First Aid Class. In last month’s issue of the Seashore News, we published a photograph of the first “graduating class” that was CPR/AED certified in the class held at the Niguel Shores ClubHouse in May. The response from participants of that class was overwhelming. As a result, we will attempt to schedule ongoing classes 2-3 times a year as long as we have residents who are interested. The next class is scheduled for Saturday, October 11 at the CluhHouse from 9:00 a.m. until noon. The cost will again be $45. Please confirm your desire to attend. E-mail me at k.wellbrock@cox.net
Safety isn’t an Accident: In a short time it’s Back to School for many children in our community. Niguel Shores parents and residents: Please be aware of kids within and outside our neighborhood as they walk, ride bicycles, ride buses, cross intersections, etc. Many times they aren’t focused on the traffic around them so it’s our responsibility to be on the watch for their safety.
