The Niguel Shores Men’s Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month for a hearty breakfast and good fellowship. There usually is a special speaker at the breakfast whose topic is of interest to our resident
members of the Shores and of Dana Point in general. We welcome residents of the Shores to join us for breakfast.
This past Tuesday, our own Vice President, Charlie Clark, spoke regarding his involvement with the Food Bank of his Church which distributes food to approximately 1,000 individuals every week. The Food Bank has a 24,000 sq. ft. warehouse and walk-in freezers and refrigerators for the food storage. Food is mainly donated by local merchants. This was a timely topic for this time of year as there are still many in need.
The members were reminded of Toys for Tots and that unwrapped gifts can be left by the Christmas tree and the ClubHouse. There will two more meetings in December — the 4th and the 18th.
Next meeting after that will be January 15, 2013.
