Page Turners Book Club will meet this month to discuss Unbroken by Lauren Hillenbrand. Unbroken is the true story of Louis Zamperini whose plane crashed in the Pacific Ocean during WWII. He was captured and imprisoned by the Japanese.
The Monday morning group will meet at 10:00 on January 23 at the home of Chris Beaver, 24121 Windward Drive. Chris will also lead the discussion. The Monday afternoon group will meet at 12:30 on January 23 at Irene McDonald’s, 24076 Gourami Bay, with Carolyn Sidwell providing refreshments. Diane Hearne will lead the discussion. The Thursday afternoon group will meet at the Club House at 1:00 on February 2 with Kathy Hill as discussion leader.
