Page Turners: April 2021

As we approach reading the seventh book out of the nine our members have chosen for this book club year, I find myself reflecting on the diversity of authors on our list. So far we have read American (naturally!), Irish, Indian, British, and now this month, a Malaysian writer.
Yangsze Cho is the author of The Night Tiger, a combination historical novel and murder mystery. As such, it should provide for a very interesting discussion. Choo is a Harvard graduate whose first novel, The Ghost Bride, set in colonial Malaya, is soon to become a Netflix series.
Thanks Neighbors. A
Page Turner’s three groups are hopefully moving back to “in person” meetings rather than Zoom now that we are get- ting vaccinated! For information on the two groups meeting Thursday afternoon, please contact Steve and Ann Morris at samwrsi@cox.net. For the Monday afternoon group, please contact me at fozimec@cox.net. Happy Reading!
