September brought us some great weather and great golf. We played Talega, Arroyo Trabuco, San Juan Hills, and Tijeras Creek. Previously, on August 28, we had our monthly tournament at Oak Creek. The format was team completion using three best net scores. Congrats to John Torok for a gross score of 78.

A LITTLE STATISTICAL HUMOR: A recent study found the
average golfer walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found
golfers drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol per year. That
means, on average, golfers get about 41 miles to the gallon.
