Group Gathering—All three Page Turners groups gathered in June for a discussion of Winterdance: The
Fine Madness of Running the Iditarod by Gary Paulsen. The meeting included a “reveal” of the books
that the club members have chosen to read next season. In May, the members suggested approximately
24 books to be considered, and then they voted for nine winners. Look for an announcement of the
winning titles in next month’s issue.
Summer Break—Our book club takes a break from regular monthly meetings during July and August and
resumes in September. In the meantime, see the list accompanying this article for the interesting
and varied books suggested by our members in case you are looking for your next good read.
Membership—Page Turners always welcomes new members and you can contact any one of the group
coordinators for more information: Steve and Ann Morris at samwrsi@cox.net, Lisa Buchner at
lisabuchner47@ gmail.com or myself at fozimec@cox.net.
