Making Progress
We are excited to share the NSCA Historical Committee projects currently underway. Over the past
several months, our team has been organizing, documenting, and cataloging the archival items and
photographs we have collected from residents to date.
Honoring Longtime Residents
We are also compiling a list of longtime Niguel Shores residents in order to honor them at a
special event coming soon. We will be awarding prizes to those who have lived in our community the
longest, and we look forward to celebrating these early residents who helped shape Niguel Shores.
A Book in the Works
In addition, we are working on a possible Niguel Shores historical book featuring our community’s
story through resident interviews, photographs from the past 50 years, and ongoing milestones for
years to come.
Your Part in Our History
We would greatly appreciate your help in preserving our community’s heritage. Please consider
joining our commit- tee if you have an interest in keeping the past alive as well as promoting our future. Also, if you have any historical
items, photos, or memorabilia you are willing to contribute, we can quickly return your items after
scanning and cata- loging, or—if you prefer—we can keep them as artifacts for future displays.
