Women’s Club: Sweet Treats and Big Smiles

Sweet Treats and Big Smiles
The Niguel Shores Women’s Club pulled off another 4th of July hit with their beloved Bake Sale & Cake Walk—and this year’s event was bigger, sweeter, and more fun than ever! With 200 delicious baked goods (a 30% jump from last year!), the bake sale sold out by 10:15 a.m. From cupcakes and cookies to homemade bread and show-stopping “doll cakes” auctioned off in style, the creativity and generosity of our community bakers truly wowed the crowd.

The fun kept going on the sport court where over 350 cake-walkers—kids, parents, grandparents, and guests— danced their way toward dessert. DJ George kept the tunes rolling, adding a party vibe that took the Cake Walk to the next level.

Thanks to Marietta Hannigan, Patti Staudenbaur, and their “Sweet Team” of over 30 volunteers, who
made the magic happen—baking, wrapping, selling, organizing, cheer- ing, and cleaning up. True
teamwork at its finest!

All proceeds will go toward future Women’s Club char- itable efforts, including support for Laura’s House. Thanks to everyone who baked, walked, cheered, and helped. What a way to celebrate!
