June Recap
June was a memorable month for the Men’s Club. At our first meeting, we proudly presented $1,000 scholarships to two exceptional students, Brooke Barber and Corinne Vartanian. Both young women are Niguel Shores residents and recent graduates of Santa Margarita Catholic High School.
Selected for their academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement, Brooke and Corinne reflect the values we aim to support through our annual scholarship program.
On June 17, our evening meeting featured a presentation by Congressman Mike Levin, who spoke to a crowd of about 75 members, spouses, and guests. He spoke for a little over an hour, including a Q&A session, and provided updates on a range of pressing national issues. Topics included the recent budget bill, the Iran-Israeli conflict, the makeup and direction of the Supreme Court, and policies related to the deportation of illegal immigrants. Following his remarks, Levin engaged the audience in a candid discussion, offering additional insights.
His visit was well- received and sparked thoughtful conversation among those in attendance.
