Dads, Grads, I Do’s, and a Poem
June is traditionally a time for remembering Dads, hon- oring graduates, celebrating weddings, and
taking off on vacations. Those of us who live on the coast know June can also bring “June
Gloom”—the gray skies and fog that come when heat builds up over the land and hits the cold air of
the Pacific. Down at our Bluff, the fog that came along one afternoon during Happy Hour inspired
Niguel Shores resi- dent Joan Stoelker to snap the photo and write the poem included on this page.
