Meet Our Committee
The Communication Committee is a team composed of residents Susan Courtney, Heather Harding, Mary Ellen Hofmann, Sandy Homicz, Michelle Ralph, Jenny Rose, Patti Staudenbaur, plus staff liaison Matt Northrop. and Board liaison Brian Porter. We work with resident reporters and photographers who regularly submit news and pictures from their individual committees, clubs, activities, or sports. Their names appear as bylines after the articles they
write each month, or in the photo credits. In addition, we depend on dozens of neighborhood volunteers who handdeliver the newsletter to each home.

What Do We Do?
We create the Seashore News and maintain the Niguel Shores Website. We meet the first Friday morning of each month to plan coming issues. Our members suggest news and special interest items, go out into the community for interviews, write and edit articles, take photos, and prepare the newsletter for printing and distribution to residents.

Why?
We like to help residents stay informed about issues, events, and activities within the community. In addition, we hope to promote a spirit of unity and friendship among Niguel Shores residents. We are pleased that the Seashore News has been recognized by local and national organizations as a noteworthy example of neighborhood communication.

The current committee members, reporters, photographers, and distributors are part of a long line of volunteers who have kept our tradition of a neighborhood newsletter going for over fifty years.
