Garden Club: Carlsbad Flower Fields

At the February 19 meeting of the Garden Club, it was announced that nominations for next year’s Officers of the Board of Directors are currently being accepted. Our discussion of the day focused on the variety of trees and shrubs that adorn our community, a topic suggested by one of our members.
On March 27, we will be going to the Carlsbad Flower Fields. The bus ride is $30.00 and the entrance fee/wagon ride is $19.00. Please make your $49 check to the Niguel Shores Garden Club and bring it to the Association Office. Members will pay individually for lunch.
Finally, an important reminder, our Annual Plant Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 28 in the Niguel Shores clubhouse.
Each club member is requested to bring 2 plants or garden- related items to be sold during the sale. If possible, members are asked to consider coming early to help with setting up for this very popular community event.
