Dana Point Historical Society 14th Annual Home Tour in Niguel Shores – Sunday, October 5, 2014

Dana Point Historical Society 14th Annual Home Tour in Niguel Shoreshome tour

The Dana Point Historical Society each year sponsors, as its main fund raising event, a home tour in various neighborhoods of Dana Point. This year the Society is inviting its members and interested area residents to learn the history of and facts about Niguel Shores and visit selected homes in the community. The Tour will be on Sunday, October 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Other Dana Point areas hosting tours in the past have been Monarch Bay, Ritz Cove, Monarch Bay Terrace, and Beach Road, all gated areas, plus Capistrano Beach and neighborhoods in Dana Point where there are a number of historic homes as well as new and renovated homes.

Several Niguel Shores residents have agreed to open their homes for the tour and a number of residents will be volunteering as docents in those homes and on the shuttle buses that will bring tour participants from Tour Headquarters in the Historical Society Museum in City Hall and back to the Museum for an afternoon reception.  All Niguel Shores residents are welcome to attend the tour and may find information about the tour and tickets for the tour at www.danapointhistorical.org.
