On June 24 we played Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona. It was our first trip to this great course where the golf gods provided us with perfect weather.
The game format was 1-2-3 Foursome. This format’s scoring is 1st hole is best Net score of the four players. The 2nd hole’s score is the two best Net scores of the four players, and the 3rd hole’s score is the three best Net scores of the four players. The remaining holes are scored in the same rotation.
■■ First Place went to the team of Gary Katsuki, John Monson, Dennis Rosene and Bill Verbrugge.
■■ Second Place went to the team of Roy Dohner, Larry Wellikson, Mike Sively, and RickHogman.
■■ Closest to the pin went to Larry Wellikson on hole #4 and to Charlie Clark on hole #10.
The next tournament is on August 12 at Bella Collina in San Clemente.
