Dear Kent,

In Napa County, California, a 6.0 earthquake struck early Sunday morning. Structural damage, water main breaks and gas leaks have been reported in the area, in addition to fires. Thanks to your support, the Red Cross was there immediately providing help and relief to first responders and families in need.

Earthquakes strike suddenly, without warning, and they can occur at any time of the year, day or night. Forty-five states and territories in the U.S. are at moderate to very high risk of earthquakes, and they are located in every region of the country.
