Women’s Club Luncheon – Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 12:00

The March luncheon is on the 14th in the ClubHouse at 12:00 and, we’re going to see a movie! The son of our member, Hansa Sehgal, has produced an entertaining and informative documentary, Craigslist, which he has generously offered to have shown at our lunch. The story is about Joseph Garner, a 29-year-old American who decided to go off on his own to see if he could survive solely on the support of “America’s new town square: Craigslist.” He set out with his laptop, cell phone, toothbrush and the clothes on his back and for 31 December days and nights intended to find everything he needed on Craigslist—food, shelter, transportation and companionship. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this wonderfully interesting look at our country and the generosity and goodwill of people that Joe met on his adventure.

You will receive your e-mail invitation on Thursday, March 7, and are asked to reply by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10. If you plan to attend, you will be informed by e-mail whether or not to bring a salad.

For those of you who are not members and have been thinking about attending one of our luncheons and joining, now is a good opportunity to see this excellent documentary and to become a member to have first dibs on tickets for the May 14 Home Tour. Tickets are now on sale in the office for the Home Tour—don’t delay.
