Men’s Golf – “I play golf in the low eighties, the old man was telling one of the youngsters at his club. Wow, said the young man, that’s pretty impressive. Not really, said the old man, Any hotter and I’d probably have a stroke.”

On February 26 after several years we went back to Twin Oaks Golf Club. The game played was combined net foursome.

The winning team was Boyd VanNess, Vid Kath, Morry Dohner and Gary Katsuki. Second Place team was: Larry Wellikson, Bill Verbrugge and John Monson. Closest-tothe-pin on #7 was Al Thome and on #17 Bill Verbrugge.

On March 26 we will play Pala Mesa in Fallbrook, a great course that is on the schedule for the first time. On April 30 we play at The Crossings in Carlsbad and on May 28, at Arrowood in Oceanside.
