Open Forum March 19th Topic – Rock Shore Revetment

The main topic for discussion during the March 19, 2013 Open Forum of the General Session Board Meeting is the rock shore revetment located on the lower portion of the Breakers Isle slope which protects the homes on Breakers Isle and the Bluff from storm damage. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m The Association has a recorded agreement with the County of Orange requiring the county repair and maintain this revetment. . Over the last year and a half, the Board of Directors has taken steps to enforce this agreement so the revetment would be repaired, but the County’s current position is that it is an impossible agreement to fulfill. At this time, this is in the hands of the attorneys and may result in large legal expenses to the community. Please attend the meeting to hear this important update.
