The results of the Annual Putting Contest at Talega: There were 15 two-man teams with cash prizes to the top five teams. Afterwards, we had a great breakfast, gave out prizes and celebrated the final outing in 2012.
First Place – Bob Borland and Tom McNicholas, 2nd Place – Allan Brace and Burr McKeehan, 3rd Place – Don Ellis and Jack Christiansen, 4th Place – Woody Woodward and Al Glatt and 5th Place – Peter Rask and Morry Dohner. In 2013 we will kick off our first tournament on January 22 at Tijeras Creek Golf Club. The following dates and locations have also been scheduled for the first half of 2013: February 26, we head back to a favorite Twin Oaks Golf Club, March 26 we will play Pala Mesa in Fallbrook, a great course that is on the schedule for the first time, April 30 we play at The Crossings in Carlsbad and, on May 28, we will be at Arrowood in Oceanside.
