CALIFORNIA COASTAL COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE REGARDING THE REVETMENT RECONSTRUCTION
Today the NSCA office received the attached notice from the California Coastal Commission stating that the Orange County Parks coastal permit application for the reconstruction of the existing Niguel Shores revetment on the shoreline will be reviewed. The public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Chula Vista. This is an important issue for the residents of Niguel Shores and it would be great to have a strong representation at this meeting to hear what is being proposed and to be able to state any concerns. On the notice it states that people who wish to testify on this matter may appear at the hearing or may present their concerns by letter to the Commission on or before the hearing date. I have requested a copy of the staff report and will be sure to share any information as soon as it is received.
