Men’s Club – January 2012

Our last featured speaker of the year, County Supervisor Pat Bates, brought us up to speed on the latest happenings in Orange County. Financially, the county is in quite good shape. The biggest new problem is going to be housing and paying for all the prisoners that the state is transferring off to each county in order to save state funds. It’s always something.

It was another successful year for the Club. We gave out three scholarships to deserving students from our local high school, sponsored the Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast and continued our fellowship with twice monthly meetings.

We are hoping the New Year will bring interested residents to visit and join our group. The first and third Tuesday will find us meeting at the ClubHouse. We welcome you to join us. So what are you waiting for?
