We Invite You to Be Part of The Conversation

The Niguel Shores Community Association website is intended to be a great source of real time information about your community.

Niguel Shores Community Association is a homeowners association. Much of NSCA’s work is done by volunteers who generously contribute their time and knowledge to help keep Niguel Shores the crown jewel of South Orange County, in the area of Monarch Beach, Dana Point. All property within Niguel Shores is privately owned either by individuals homeowners or by the NSCA.

This site will give you a much more convenient way to participate in the conversation about our community.  You are encouraged to provide your input regarding all matters to ensure that Niguel Shores continues to offer the perfect setting for an  extraordinary lifestyle.

Thank you, Shores Governing Board, Management and residents, for making The Shores a place where we have loved to live since 1977. And, your work to beautify the grounds is especially appreciated. We think the grounds, (and the entire community), always look good and it is smart to now be planting with items that need less water. The area that has looked the worse for a long time is the strip going along the front entrance. We think this can and should be improved as nearly 100% of the Dana Point residents see this as they go by, or as they are introduced to the area when entering, while most in the town will never see the improvements you are doing within our gates.
We assume that you have some good plans for improving our high profile entrance.
Thank you for making this new web site feature on our attractive web site so that we and others may contribute comments, suggestions and ideas. And, thank you, Shores Governing Board and Management, for your hard work.

Thank you for being among the first to use our comment feature. Having a place for residents to make comments to the Board and staff and get quick responses was exactly what we intended. Also Niguel Shores homeowners can now respond to each others comments and share ideas and opinions.

As to the landscaping we have a new design for the Mariner entrance, developed through the efforts of the Master Landscape committee. The sentiment of Board members is that the time is not right to pursue funding for an extensive renovation of the Mariner Drive entrance. We have hired a new landscape company which will start operations in the Shores on December 1, 2011. That company, Harvest Landscape, promises to offer a more imaginative and progressive approach to the entire Niguel Shores development. We hope that will translate to making needed visual improvements to our main entrance very soon.
